Sunny Fitzgerald - Vice President, Origination


Ms. Fitzgerald has successfully financed innovative and complex affordable and subsidized multifamily housing and healthcare projects utilizing HUD and Fannie Mae. Her notable and pioneering accomplishments include: refinancing the very first HUD 202/223(f) and continuing with dozens more; recapitalization and conversion of a buy-in life care community to affordable seniors rental housing; serving as a development consultant for the construction of a non-profit assisted living facility utilizing HUD 232 financing and debt service savings from a 202/223(f) . Hugh Jeffers - Vice President, Origination


As Vice President for Originations, Hugh Jeffers is responsible for originating new business around the country. Mr. Jeffers has over 18 years of real estate finance experience with a particular emphasis on FHA insured multifamily loans. Mr. Jeffers has a particular expertise in Senior and Cooperative housing. Prior to joining Centennial Mortgage, Mr. Jeffers worked in originations for Love Funding, Bellwether Enterprise, and Arbor Commercial Mortgage. He also developed and managed the FHA lending operation and affordable housing team for the National Cooperative Bank in Washington, DC. In addition to FHA experience, Mr. Jeffers has made extensive use of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac multifamily programs. He holds a bachelors degree from Lafayette College in Economics and Art and a master’s degree from New York University, Stern School of Business. Michael McCullough - Vice President, Origination


Michael McCullough is the Vice President of Origination at Centennial Mortgage. He is responsible for the production of loans primarily in the FHA Programs. In the period of 2009 through 2015 he has produced 35 transactions for $162 million in mortgage loans for affordable multifamily housing projects. From 1999 to 2005, Mr. McCullough was the Director of the Office of Multifamily Development at HUD. He was responsible for all new production of FHA multifamily mortgage insurance loans in the United States. Also he developed Multifamily Accelerated Processing (MAP), a method for processing insurance applications that is now in use at HUD’s multifamily offices. Before HUD, he spent nine years with the National Association of Home Builders where he served as the Director of Multifamily Finance. From 1974 to 1990, he was employed by the West Virginia Housing Development Fund (the state housing finance agency). He served there as the Deputy Director for housing production activities and as chief financial officer. He received his Bachelors degree in Engineering from West Virginia University and his Masters degree in City Planning from Harvard University.

Terrance Watkins - Vice President, Origination


Mr. Watkins has over 17 years experience working in the housing industry. He joined Centennial Mortgage, Inc. in August 2009 and is responsible for originating multifamily and healthcare mortgages under HUD’s FHA insurance programs. Moreover, his aim will be to cultivate lending relationships with borrowers across the country. Prior to joining Centennial Mortgage, Inc he worked with Prudential Huntoon Paige as Director of Originations. Meredith Johnson - Vice President, Affordable Housing


Meredith Johnson is a commercial banker with over 19 years of expertise in affordable housing and Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC). She joined Centennial Mortgage, Inc. in July 2018 and has extensive experience guiding developers and nonprofits through complex commercial real estate transactions to support expansion of affordable housing in areas with unique geographic and socioeconomic challenges. Her previous business experience includes serving as a senior FHA underwriter at GMAC Commercial Mortgage, credit oversight of over $1.2B in affordable loans, $2.7B in tax credit investments and over $2.8B in other commercial real estate at Capmark Finance Inc., and managing client relationships throughout the industry at small and large-sized financial institutions. Ms. Johnson received a B.S. Degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder in Environmental Studies and Geography.

Mr. Foti has over 20 years experience in commercial real estate loan origination, primarily with FHA multifamily and GSE loan programs. Martin Royal - Deputy Chief Underwriter


Mr. Royal has been an underwriter since 2005, and is approved by HUD to underwrite Multifamily, Healthcare (LEAN) and Hospital projects. First with GMAC Commercial Mortgage (now Berkadia), then Oppenheimer Multifamily Housing and Healthcare Finance, Mr. Royal has a very diversified field of experience in FHA work. Heather  Orlowski - VP, FHA Underwriter


Heather is a MAP-Approved underwriter and has over 25 years of experience originating, underwriting, processing and closing FHA insured transactions. Prior to joining TCF, Heather worked as a Vice President at Capmark/GMACCM from 1994 to 2009 and as a Loan Analyst at Independence One Mortgage Corporation from 1991 to 1994. Her primary responsibility at TCF is underwriting FHA insured multifamily and healthcare mortgage applications submitted to HUD field offices nationwide. During her career, Ms. Orlowski has closed over $300 million in FHA loans and is experienced in almost all FHA Insurance Programs including 221(d)(4), 221(d)(3), 220, 232, 223(f), 223(a)(7), 231, 236-decoupling, 202 refinance, 202 consulting, 241-Supplement and the 241(f) programs. Ms. Orlowski holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University and is a member of the Michigan Mortgage Bankers Association. Ms. Ahseln has over 20 years of experience in the real estate lending industry. Sheryldene Rogers - Sr. Project Manager, Underwriting


Sheryldene Rogers has undergraduate degrees from Eastern Washington University, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Gonzaga University. She began working in the multifamily industry in 1992, facilitating preservation of affordable units under HUD’s LIHPRHA program. She then transitioned into the role of Development Consultant for non-profit organizations, developing nearly 40 new properties in the Pacific Northwest that provided deeply-subsidized residences for very-low-income seniors and persons with disabilities. Additionally, she oversaw property management of 1,400 units and facilitated the sale, acquisition, refinance, and/or rehab of approximately 400 units of affordable housing units. These experiences have proved to be invaluable to Ms. Rogers in her role with the Centennial underwriting team, assisting clients in maximizing the benefits of HUD-insured loans.

Brian Lorenz - Project Manager


Brian Lorenz has over five years in the commercial finance sector, spending two of those at Centennial Mortgage, where he has been trained to analyze new-construction, existing multifamily, and health care projects.
