Meet Terrance

Mr. Watkins has over 22 years of experience working in the commercial real estate industry. He is responsible for originating multifamily and healthcare mortgages under HUD’s and the USDA’s insurance programs. Moreover, he has cultivated lending relationships with borrowers across the country and has originated and closed numerous FHA and USDA insured loans. He has the distinction of originating and closing one of the very first RAD deals. Prior to joining Centennial Mortgage, Inc he worked with Prudential Huntoon Paige as Director of Originations. Additionally, he worked with the Illinois Housing Development Authority (“IHDA”), as a Supervising Underwriter and has vast experience underwriting multifamily and senior affordable housing loan transactions utilizing LIHTC’s, tax-exempt bonds, HOME Funds, and other public and private financing vehicles. A native of Illinois, Mr. Watkins holds a B.S. in Community and Regional Planning with a concentration in local and regional issues including housing, finance, and growth management from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.
