Meet Terry

Terry Chuvala is a Vice President of Origination at Centennial Mortgage and during his 40-year career in the mortgage banking business, has worked with the Department of Housing and Urban Development and several high volume HUD Lenders. During Terry’s 18-year government career, he served as Chief Underwriter and later Director of Multifamily Development at the Pittsburgh HUD Office and Philadelphia Regional Office. In 1990, upon leaving HUD for private industry, Terry joined Centennial Mortgage as Chief Underwriter and moved into loan origination. Upon leaving Centennial in 2001, Terry worked for several other HUD Lenders including Love Funding, Oppenheimer and Greystone closing HUD insured loans in most states in the country including large new construction portfolios in California, Florida and Texas. Terry brings to Centennial Mortgage his expertise in HUD funding with the perspective of HUD methodology and the partnership with private industry clients. Terry received his BSBA degree in Economics at Geneva Collage in Beaver Falls, PA.
