The USDA has announced that “to continue to meet the increasing demand for safe and affordable multifamily rental housing in rural America, Multifamily Housing (MFH) Leadership has reorganized MFH programs into an integrated model with specialized teams.” Effective October 13, 2020, the USDA is now organized into the following regions:
As further described by the USDA, “all MFH staff will be aligned to 1 of 3 integrated divisions: Field Operations Division, Production & Preservation Division, and Asset Management Division.” The processes utilized by the USDA are expected to be unchanged, however the new alignment brings a streamlined approach that provides for more consistent and predictable work.
