    Michael McCullough is the Vice President of Origination at Centennial Mortgage. He is responsible for the production of loans primarily in the FHA Programs. In the period of 2009 through 2019 he has produced 45 transactions in excess of $200 million in mortgage loans for affordable multifamily housing projects. From 1999 to 2005, Mr. McCullough was the Director of the Office of Multifamily Development at HUD. He was responsible for all new production of FHA multifamily mortgage insurance loans in the United States. Also he developed Multifamily Accelerated Processing (MAP), a method for processing insurance applications that is now in use at HUD’s multifamily offices. Before HUD, he spent nine years with the National Association of Home Builders where he served as the Director of Multifamily Finance. From 1974 to 1990, he was employed by the West Virginia Housing Development Fund (the state housing finance agency). He served there as the Deputy Director for housing production activities and as chief financial officer. He received his Bachelors degree in Engineering from West Virginia University and his Masters degree in City Planning from Harvard University.
