The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) continues to work to support affordable housing in our rural communities. Centennial Mortgage is a proud member of The Council for Affordable and Rural Housing (“CARH”) and recently attended their first ‘virtual’ conference in late June 2020. The conference was well attended and amazingly coordinated by members of leaders in the rural housing and lending community, representatives from the U.S. Government and the many third-party vendors that help ensure the success of these important projects.
It is inspiring to hear success stories throughout the nation, maintaining the most basic critical need of affordable housing during these difficult times. While legislative strives need to be made to expand the availability and funding for such housing, Centennial Mortgage is happily engaged with the USDA, FHA, CARH and our industry partners. We look forward to partnering with you to help expand and enhance housing for our friends and neighbors.
